1.FREQUENCY OF USE OF LOCAL AND GENERAL ANESTHESIA IN MOLAR EXTRACTIONS: COMPARISON OF LEVEL OF PAIN AND COMPLICATIONS

Abstract:

Background: Study of LA and GA anesthesia response indicates the comparison between both Local anesthesia (LA) is that technique which is used to make absent of sensation or feeling that is confined to a circumscribed area of the body. Analgesia (pain relieving) is locally given for insensitivity to pain. Local anesthetics have high efficacy and safety in medical and dental practice. Their use is so routine, and adverse effects are infrequent, which may be overlooked.

The aims of this study were to compare the frequency of use LA (Lidocaine) and GA (Isoflurane) in molar extractions. And to determine the complications of this procedure.

Methods: Data was collected through questionnaire (sampling) method of hundredpatients who recently had molar extractions in the three dental hospital ( private hopsital, government hospital, DUHS ( OJHA Campus),Karachi.Frequency of Procedures of molar extraction done in LA or GA and any postsurgical complications were recorded.

RESULTS: Approximately 67 procedures were done on LA compared to 48 cases of molar extraction done in GA. This study show frequency of use of GA , DUHS (30%), Medicare (28%), Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (37%)and LA varies among different hospitals DUHS (60%), JMDC(72%), Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (62%)(Table 1).Post surgical complications in procedures done under LA / GA which included were pain, trismus, swelling, soft tissue injury, nerve damage, damage to adjacent teeth and dislocation of mandible were recorded.(Table 2).

Abstract:

The urinary tract infection is one of the most common serious bacterial infections in infants and children (Abiodium et al., 2007). Urinary tract infection (UTI) is often associated with functional or anatomic abnormality of the urinary tract, the most common of which is vesico -ureteral reflux (Yves et al., 2009).

The urinary tract is a common source of infection for infants, toddlers and children. Urinary tract infections are important because they can cause acute or long-term morbidity as hypertension or decreased renal function (Girardin, 2008). The prevalence of IU depends on many factors including age and sex, but it is in the first year of life that the incidence of the first episode is the highest. Signs and symptoms of UTIs are often nonspecific, particularly in neonates and infants. The diagnosis is based on urine cytology testing (urinalysis), which imposes strict conditions of collection, storage and execution.

Abstract:

According “Alexandra Daddario” to a combination between extreme insecurity and extreme confidence. Proponents of 360-Degree Feedback believe that it is a valuable tool because feedback comes from multiple perspectives and therefore is more reliable, fair, and objective than a performance appraisal feedback. Those, who favor the use of 360-Degree Feedback assessment, believe that individuals will show a greater acceptance of feedback when it comes from multiple sources 01.

In contrast, some 360-Degree Feedback processes may influence performance negatively. In some situations, negative feedback creates discouragement and frustration for participants. Researchers found that one third of the participants who react negatively to feedback ratings showed a decrease in performance. Some participants react negatively to feedback and are not satisfied with the 360-Degree Feedback process 02.

In this article Researchers focus on only Fear/Insecurity as a barrier to 360 Degree Feedback among college teachers in Trichy.

Abstract:

Barutçu mansion located in Kastamonu province, İs mail bey district is one of the examples of civil architecture which considerably preserves its unique features within historical environment, embodies authentic construction technique, original space formation and architectural elements of traditional Kastamonu houses. The mansion has entered into a fast deterioration process as it is abandoned for a decade. Within the scope of this article, the formation of the mansion, authentic architectural elements and construction system is defined; the current situation is documented with the problems, dated, recommendations given in connection with inrestitution and restoration recommendations have been presented in both graphic and vectorial with their stages.

Abstract:

Physiological damage during M1 generation is one of the important considerations for the selection of mutagen and its dose. In present study plant injury due to gamma radiation in sesame (Sesamum indicum L.) was analyzed. Air dried seeds of two cultivars of sesame i.e. Krishna and RT 54 were treated by gamma rays in single dose of 60 kr., split dose of (30+30) kr. and (20+20+20) kr. . Plant injury was observed in all radiated population of both cultivars in M1 generation, indicating the role of gamma ray in bringing small or large physiological damage. Plant injury due to split doses was found higher than that of single dose in both cultivars.

From the existing life testing linear distributions a good number of Circular models were developed using a variety of techniques like wrapping, inverse stereographic projections, rising sun function etc. In this Paper a new Semicircular model called Stereographic Semicircular Exponentiated Inverted Weibull Distribution is constructed using the method of inverse stereographic projection. The Probability density function, Cumulative density function, Characteristic function, Trigonometric moments and population characteristics for the new Stereographic Semicircular Exponentiated Inverted Weibull Distribution are studied.

The above facilities are mainly said to be for the benefit of common people, it helped a lot to corporate sector. The above are symbol of corporate increase the consumerists of the people to buy more form corporate sector. The livelihood loss created by the corporations is not compensated properly. It is a clear violence artificially created against common man in the name of welfare creation. It is not welfare but ill fare to common people.

CSR is the method of minimum compensation guaranteed by an act for the damage cause by corporate sector. How far it is useful to revive the loss of social, environmental human capital loss caused by the entry of corporate sector is to be studied. The present article to focuses on the impact of CSR to improve the livelihood of common man particularly women through SHG program.
